We make it easy for our customers to do business with us. 3G Packaging, Inc. is the product of a merger of two long time established companies: Acker-Pak and Central Industrial Packaging Supply. Acker-Pak, located in Rochester, NY was formed in 2005 and initially sold janitorial and industrial supplies. Shortly thereafter, the company began selling packaging products, building a strong customer support team, expanding its warehouse capacity to over 80,000 square feet, and stocking multi million dollars of inventory for their customers. The company soon became the go-to supplier for many local companies and national corporations. A strong growth in sales of packaging equipment led to the company creating and staffing a full-time service department. Soon they were providing Preventive Maintenance Programs, installation, training and troubleshooting services to their client's packaging equipment. The company's business grew exponentially every year, and since 2012, Acker-Pak has been named Rochester Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies for five consecutive years by Rochester Business Alliance. The Central Industrial Packaging Supply (CIPS) located in Syracuse, NY was established four decades ago. CIPS was well known for its customized fabrication department, custom corrugated & wood fabricated products, and top level customer service. It's Vendor Managed Inventory programs with top companies allowed it to grow into a strong competitor of packaging supplies throughout Central NY and beyond. Its 40,000-square foot warehouse also enhanced the purchasing power, inventory management, and overall delivery performance of 3G Packaging. When combined, 3G Packaging solidified its position as a national supplier within the packaging industry.
