The Academy of Functional Medicine and Genomics

The Academy of Functional Medicine and Genomics seeks to advance the field of functional and biomolecular medicine primarily through education of healthcare professionals and the public, to improve quality of care in general healthcare, dentistry, psychology, addictionology, all mental health professions and all wellness-related practices. One of the Academy's main objectives is to promote consumer awareness of authentic, science-based opportunities for personal wellness through direct-to-consumer educational assessments of health, and through education and co-consultation with healthcare professionals. The Academy of Functional Medicine and Genomics will also promote a scientific paradigm shift to accelerate the adoption of functional medicine and nutrigenomics as a mainstream, accepted standard of care in all healthcare fields. While the Academy seeks to improve individual health and wellness and longevity through widespread application of functional medicine and nutigenomics, that is only a means to its ultimate objective. The primary mission of the Academy of Functional Medicine and Genomics is to promote mind/body wellness to facilitate psychological self-actualization, non-violence and happiness for all of humanity.
