ACTS CHB

Acts CHB, Inc. was founded when Lavone McClellan, who was previously the Vice President of a large Customs brokerage, found herself at a crossroads. Along with her husband David, she sought the Lord in prayer to either start her own business or go into a full time ministry job. God directed the two of them to start a company and they opened Acts Custom Brokers in 1991 with the motto "Love Never Fails". Shortly after opening, Lavone brought her son Daren McClellan, who earned his CHB License, on board. The next year her daughter Sue Fitzgerald followed and finally her eldest son, Michael McClellan joined. The business has been family run since its founding and continues to be run by the McClellan family today. Over the next 25 years the company grew and expanded into several new areas. Acts Custom Brokers became incorporated as Acts CHB, Inc. and three companion companies developed: Acts International Services, a warehouse services. Dove Shipping International, shipping services [NVOCC]. Acts Crating & Transportation, crating services. All companies are still owned and operated by the McClellan family in and around Houston, Texas.
