Audio Directions
"Audio Directions 4 Hearing" was a division of Emcom Systems up until December 2017. Engineers at Emcom Systems (founded in 2002) first created an audio induction loop amplifier for use in its VoIP emergency call systems to meet ADA requirements in mass transit and aviation - in cities such as New York, Philadelphia, Miami, Boston and Seattle. The 1:1 loop solution by Emcom has been proven to exceed standards and expectations in the most heavily regulated and challenging environments. Induction loop amplifiers and overhead loops designed by Emcom were installed at the 9/11 Memorial & Museum in NYC to allow visitors with hearing loss to enjoy the audio experience linked to the Museum's visual displays. Since that project was completed, Emcom loop amplifiers, receivers and accessories have been available to owners, operators and designers of any public space. overhead-loop-photo
