AdaViv&s;s mission is to make each plant count and help every farmer achieve consistency in yields and quality. AdaViv&s;s early detection and intervention software improves consistency and drive yields by 20%+. Using a high throughput data pipeline, AdaViv plans to quickly scale beyond their beachhead market (cannabis) to other high-value crops, leading the innovation of sustainable agriculture with a transparent Plant Intelligence Platform, leveraged by cultivators, regulators, insurers, and genetics providers alike. Incubated at MIT, Adaviv was co-founded by Ian Seiferling, Ph.D., Moe Vazifeh, Ph.D. and Julian Ortiz MBA. The company is a mission-driven and growing startup based in Somerville, Massachusetts, a recent graduate of the Creative Destruction Lab and is a finalist of the 2021 New England Innovation Awards.
