Alto Lakes Golf & Country Club

Alto Lakes Golf & Country Club was established in 1967. The Club is a residential and recreational community including two 18-hole golf courses, first class dining, and a variety of fitness, social and leisure activities. Membership is included with property ownership of a home, townhome or lot within the community. The community covers nearly 1,700 acres along two mountain ridges and includes approximately 1,150 homes, 80 townhomes and approximately 1,000 vacant lots. The word alto means "tall" in Spanish and, sitting at 7,550 feet in elevation, it is easy to understand how Alto it got its name. Alto Lakes Golf and Country Club is surrounded by the Lincoln National Forest where the cool mountain air, majestic views, and tall pines abound within the community. Alto Lakes Golf and Country Club is located in Southeastern New Mexico 8 miles north of Ruidoso, New Mexico and is 175 miles from Albuquerque, New Mexico and 140 miles from El Paso, Texas.
