This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, skilled gardener to join a growing business. Our business is around 60% domestic and 40% commercially based and with a track record of over 10 years of delighting our clients, we now have an opportunity for two more skilled people to join our growing team. You will be an experienced gardener with horticultural qualifications or at least 2 years+ experience in a similar role but looking to expand your horizons in terms of the quality of working environment and career progression. You will also need to have a driving license and most of all, be able to think on your feet, be quality driven and have the ability to help us maintain our exceptional customer service standards. Avery Gardens will give you in return a great working environment, the opportunity for self-development through external courses and a starting salary in the region of £16,000 to £19,000 depending on your experience. We also provide you with the best quality tools and machinery to get the job done and supportive, skilled management to help you perform at your best. We are looking for people who are genuinely enthusiastic, positive and great with people - customer service is absolutely key to our success. You must be willing to help grow and improve the business on a day to day basis and will be required to work both with team members as well as alone when required. You must of course have a reasonable plant knowledge and have relevant qualifications and/or experience. Spraying certificates are also desirable.
