Erin has spent a career in integrated communications. Before co-founding BitFlip, she was the EVP of an interactive services startup that she took from a staff of two to a staff of 21 with a blue-chip client roster. Prior to that, Erin was a VP in Account Management at Foote Cone & Belding advertising. Early in her career, Erin spent 5 years in the Education & Communications department at The Asia Society before leaving to earn her MA in East Asian Studies from Harvard University. She is a seasoned bartender, speaks Chinese and can order "two beers, please," in Japanese. She’s also the band’s chick singer. Meg has spent a long and varied career in advertising, sales, sales promotion and magazine publishing. After 10 years in Account Management with some of New York’s leading ad agencies working on fashion, retail and entertainment and media accounts she moved to the client side at Woman’s Day magazine overseeing the development and production of special events, sales presentations and special promotions and the marketing copy and design departments. Most recently, she directed the sales and marketing effort for a startup biomedical technology company. She holds a BA in English Literature from SUNY Binghamton. She does not sing in the band, although she could. Nicole came to BitFlip by way of Broadway. Her work as Manager of New Media for Cameron Mackintosh coincided with the emergence of interactive media in the theatrical industry. As VP, Operations of Pegasus Internet, she helped grow the arts and entertainment web development company from a staff of 9 to a staff of 30. Nicole is a graduate of Northwestern University and serves on their New York Alumni Board. She plays volleyball and softball and can often be found on weeknights singing on Restaurant Row or on weekends performing in B.B. King’s Motown tribute shows. Curt is an award-winning creative director and co-founder of BitFlip with long experience in both print and interactive media design. Early in his career, Curt worked in the travel industry and for Reuters. He has earned more than one One Show award and a large handful of other industry distinctions. Curt holds a BA in American Studies from Stanford University and an MA in Visual Communications from Pratt Institute where his thesis included the creation of Delta Blues, an educational CD-ROM celebrating the music and lives of Mississippi blues musicians. Curt served in the Peace Corps in West Africa, speaks Diola, plays a wicked ping-pong game and regularly runs the NYC marathon. Not necessarily at the same time. Ted combines contrasting backgrounds as a fine artist and technologist. Prior to co-founding BitFlip, Ted was the SVP, Online Development Director at an interactive services startup where he was responsible for the tremendous growth in the Web portion of that company’s business. As an undergraduate, Ted studied computer science and illustration, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communications Design from Pratt Institute. He has taught graduate-level classes in HTML and Web design at Pratt Institute and the New School. A 3-D photographer, guitarist and singer, he has performed at New York clubs The Bitter End and Tramps. Marv was a top financial and management executive for Subaru of America, completing his 18 years of service with that company as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Since then he has provided financial and management services to several young businesses and was also involved for nine years in a successful turn-around situation for a public company. He loves foreign travel, will not sing in the band or run the marathon, but might be willing to try his hand at competitive ping-pong.
