Browning Seed
Browning Seed, Inc., was established in 1962 by Hollis Browning and son, Jeane Browning. Lee and John Browning are the 3rd generation of seed specialists and are happy to provide the same excellent service their father and grandfather did. They will make every effort to ensure that you receive the highest quality of service and the top quality of seed in the industry. The Browning family is a diverse group. We have our own family farms and cattle operation. This is what has led to our own breeding and experimentation with many parental lines to create sweet, palatable, nutritious crosses for our herd and yours. Our hybrids are adapted for rapid gains and return for top profits whether grazing, raising hay or greenchop. Because water conservation is a concern for all of us, we offer many AQUIFER FRIENDLY™, drought tolerant varieties of seed that are excellent utilizers of available moisture with proven yields. 775W and Challenger are two hybrid grain sorghums with a high yield ability for either irrigated or dry land production. Head exertion and standability are excellent. These varieties will exhibit excellent post harvest yield for hay or grazing as a by-product due to parenting. Through the years we have developed many new hybrids, including the FIRST triple cross sorghum-sudangrass hybrid in the seed industry, known as Cadan 99B® (Sweet as Candy). We also offer dry land and irrigated hybrids in many varieties. BSI has a complete line of seeds with many varieties of grass, grain sorghum, sorghum-sudangrass, forage sorghum, hybrid corn, oats, barley, triticale and millet as well as lawn and turf seed. We also custom blend any mixture to your specifications. Call Browning Seed, Inc., when you want the best! We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for allowing Browning Seed, Inc. to serve your seed needs!
