Bungay Black Dog Running Club

On behalf of Bungay Black Dog Running Club we would like to welcome your child(ren) to the club and provide you with some information about our activities. The club provides opportunities for all students in full time education to receive coaching and take part in competition. All coaching is overseen by qualified Level 2 UK Athletics coaches who are trained and have been screened for their suitability for working with young people. The club has achieved Sport England's Clubmark, which is awarded when a club is able to demonstrate that it meets the criteria regarding training, safeguarding and protecting children, sports equity and ethics and club management. Clubmark is an acknowledgement that we take these issues seriously and that we are striving to provide a high quality and welcoming environment for your child(ren) in the sport. Our club Welfare Officers, Paul Seary and Sally Nicholls, are responsible for ensuring that our child protection policy is implemented. We welcome parents to all training and competitions and value your support. We are keen to try and involve parents in the club and would like to invite you to come along watch or even participate if you wish, and ask any questions regarding the training before your child becomes a member. Below is some information about training times and details regarding club registration. Training sessions take place on the following days: Tuesdays 6.30 - 7.30pm at Bungay Sports Centre Thursdays 7.00 - 8.00pm at Bungay Sports Centre For full details Click Here We appreciate it if children can arrive promptly and are collected promptly at the end of the session, if they are not making their own way home.
