About Catholic Charities: Services include Counseling, Substance Abuse Education and Treat-ment, Adoption and Foster Care, Prevention, Education and Outreach Services such as Mr. Gaines Gardening Program PLUS, North End Soup Kitchen Summer Employment and Youth Camp, Kinship Caregivers, Work Ready program, Utilities Assistance, the St. Christopher Medical Transport program, as well as Community Services (meals and water) and a large Community Closet of personal care, household, clothing and linen items for anyone in need of immediate support. To lift burdens during crisis and challenging times, Flint service sites in-clude Catholic Charities main building, Children's Center, The Sister Claudia Burke Center for Hope and its Warming Center, Community Closet and Soup Kitchen, North End and South Flint Soup Kitchens, as well as three community-wide Sandwich Programs. Sites offer expansive ser-vice hours on weekdays/evenings, with access to clean water and nutritious meals also provided on weekends.
