CTE S.p.A

Founded in 1981, CTE immediately sets up its vocation in the production and sale of material removal lifts in particular. World leader in this sector, in 1987 signed an exclusive licensing agreement with Genie Industries, the world's leading producer of self-propelled aerial platforms, for distribution of the brand in Italy. The decade ended on a high for CTE, with one of the greatest success stories in Italy and Europe for the company: the Pratika material removal lift. In 1992, with the acquisition of the Pianoplan patent, the company rounded off its fleet of machinery for transporting heavy and awkward loads up stairs and landings. The following year, 1993, saw the launch of Genex: the first company in the world to produce ladders and scaffolds in fiberglass. The establishment of CTE France in 1994 gave the company its first foothold in Europe outside Italy: this was followed by CTE UK in 2002 and CTE Danmark in 2014. In 1997 CTE acquired Sequani Meccanica, a major manufacturer of aerial platforms. Subsequently, the Rivoli Veronese plant near Verona was built, specializing in the production of ladders and truck-mounted and track mounted aerial platforms. In 2005 the company completed its process of transformation from a commercial concern to an industrial group, with the acquisition of Effer and Bizzocchi, two brands of international standing with 40 years' know-how and experience: Effer produces the vastest range of hydraulic folding cranes for trucks since 1965; Bizzocchi was international leader in the production of aerial telescopic and fire-fighting platforms. This marked the foundation of one of the largest European groups in the field of lifting and movement of materials and people, with a commercial presence that has spanned all 5 continents since 2006. Today, CTE SpA confirms its leadership in the worldwide industry, with a production of truck-mounted platforms which stood at more than 1,000 pieces produced per year and with a network of dealers belonging to more than 100 different countries. The flagship product is the range of articulated and telescopic truck-mounted platforms, with working heights up to 62 m. CTE SpA is part of CTE Group and offers to the market the following brands: ZED, B-LIFT, TRACCESS, B-FIRE, PRATIKA, PIANOPLAN, GENIE, GEDA, GENEX, POWER TOWER and EFFER.
