Diocese of Alexandria

The Diocese of Alexandria is a group of fifty parishes, twenty-two missions, eight Catholic schools, and numerous lay ministries and Catholic organizations. The Diocese provides numerous services to its community, including marriage services and schooling from kindergarten to high school. Established July 29, 1853 by Pius IX, The Diocese is headquartered in Alexandria, Louisiana.
