Episcopal Diocese of Missouri
The Episcopal School for Ministry provides educational resources to: Deepen the spiritual lives and strengthen the ministries in the church and the world of all who seek to grow in the knowledge and love of God; Prepare people to serve the church as priests and deacons; Strengthen the ministries of lay and ordained people through continuing education. In 1999 we began building a community of teachers and students to prepare persons for lay and ordained ministries, as well for those who simply want to deepen their knowledge and love of God. We do that through worship, fellowship, and a three-year cycle of courses. Soon we will expand our offerings to include continuing education for existing ministries. The School is also responsible for offering Anglican Studies courses for Episcopal students at Eden Theological Seminary, a seminary of the United Church of Christ. The School meets once a month for a weekend on the campus of Eden Theological Seminary, located in Webster Groves. Our student body is a diverse group. The faculty is drawn from clergy and lay members of the Diocese, as well as from our ecumenical partners. For the schedule of school dates or for information about admission to the school, please contact the Dean or the registrar. We welcome your interest and look forward to serving you.
