Evex Inc.,(Princeton, NJ) is the premier manufacture of scientific instrumentation for nanotechnolgy. Evex designs, manufactures, and sells scanning electron microscopes and x-ray analyzers. Established in 1994 Evex pioneered the field of x-ray microanalysis by introducing the first pc based spectral acquisition and digital imaging system for electron microscopy. Since 1994 Evex has grown and manufactures and markets worldwide Mini-SEM. The Mini-SEM is the world's most affordable, advanced, easiest to use, tabletop scanning electron microscope (SEM). The Mini-SEM easily magnifies from 10x - 30,000X. The Mini-SEM can be optionally equipped with Evex's award winning X-ray NanoAnalysis (EDX) system with a High Speed Liquid Nitrogen Free X-ray Detector. The NanoAnalysis system identifies the elemental composition from (B to U). Combining the ower of SEM & EDX analysis, material characterization is taken to the next level by providing spatial positioning of the elements identified in the sample.
