Farmhouse Collection

The Farmhouse Collection was created to offer discriminating customers a unique opportunity to own the very best in sophisticated, hand crafted furniture. Taking a cue from provincial 18th and 19th century America and Europe, The Farmhouse Collection has deftly adapted period styles to accommodate the needs of contemporary homeowners. Each piece is made to order and hand built from solid wood in our Idaho workshop. Using only time honored, hand-crafted methods, the enduring quality of each Farmhouse Collection piece is further enhanced by rich hand-applied gesso, paint and stain finishes. A broad selection of hand-painted motifs is also available. In addition, all of our artists are formally trained to adapt custom finish colorations and motif work from supplied fabric, paint or wall coverings samples. Because each piece is made to order, The Farmhouse Collection is uniquely suited to customize any item based on size or specific use consideration. In fact, many of today's leading designers use The Farmhouse Collection as their own custom workshop. Ellen Wallace and two friends founded the Farmhouse Collection in 1990. Ellen's daughter Brooke Restemayer joined the firm in 1992 and as CEO now oversees all aspects of the company's sales, marketing and finances. In 2000, Ellen and Brooke became sole owners of the company and Brooke's husband Brent joined the team as Lead Designer and head of manufacturing. Our family owned and operated business is committed to making only the highest quality one-of-a kind pieces that will endure for many generations to come. Every piece built by The Farmhouse Collection is personally hand-signed and dated for each customer and comes with a bronze numbered plaque to ensure its authenticity. As such, every piece of furniture made by The Farmhouse Collection is destined to become tomorrow's antique. The Farmhouse Collection currently employs approximately 40 manufacturing and administrative personnel at our workshop in Twin Falls, Idaho. Showrooms offering The Farmhouse Collection are located in Los Angeles; New York; Dallas; Chicago; Seattle; Laguna Niguel, California; Minneapolis; Beachwood, Ohio; Atlanta; Washington, D.C.; Denver; Scottsdale; San Francisco; Dania Beach, Florida; Troy, Michigan; and Boston. The history of The Farmhouse Collection has developed a rich tradition and our old world construction methods are rooted firmly in the very history of furniture making itself.
