Festival Drayton Centre

The Festival Drayton Centre is owned and run by the community of Market Drayton and has been since 1984. It has solely evolved as a direct result of the time, dedication and commitment of its many volunteers - a staggering achievement. The Centre is recognised and admired by many as an outstanding state-of-the-art facility that prides itself on its professionalism. The Centre was honoured as the Best Regional Winner of the West Midlands Market Town Awards in 2006 in recognition of the most outstanding Market Towns Project. The Centre underwent an extensive refurbishment and extension in January 2005 and since then, it has been sighted as a cornerstone for social and economic re-generation within the town and the surrounding area. Indeed the Festival Centre provides activities for a broad and wide spectrum of community needs.
