GCI is a leading small-business provider of staffing support for government and commercial clients in the healthcare, Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS), and information technology (IT) areas. The company's principals bring over 20 years of project management and staffing support experience to CLASS and other staffing programs. While GCI is the prime contractor and heads our team for the CLASS contract, GCI has served as subcontractor under similar contracts, including the USAF Medical Services Commodity Council's Clinical Support Services (CSS) contract, the predecessor contract to CLASS. GCI served as a subcontractor at bases nationwide and currently provides 10 Medical Clerks to perform a variety of administrative support services for the Soldier Readiness Processing (SRP) center and the Medical Evaluation Board (MEB) at the Evans Army Community Hospital at Fort Carson, Colorado. GCI has also operated the Occupational Health Clinic at Hill Air Force Base, providing all clinic operations and management and a staff of 23 healthcare employees. Winning the CLASS contract allows Team GCI to bid on fixed-price task orders to provide physicians and nurses and dental, behavioral, allied and ancillary healthcare specialists and technicians. The ordering period for the CLASS contract is four years.
