Genesys PHO, LLC is one of the largest Physician Hospital Organizations in the mid-west and has continuously been successful since starting business in January of 1995. Genesys PHO is governed and owned by Genesys Health System and Genesys Physician Group Practice (125 primary care physicians). Genesys PHO provides practice management services for all types of ambulatory providers and managed care management for Genesys Health System and contracted providers. Practice management services are currently provided for more than 180 physicians, which range from Misys billing system, to complete management of the physician billing operations using Misys practice management/billing system. The practice management services have assisted more physicians to achieve the Michigan Governor's award for excellence then any other health system in Michigan. The managed care services have acquired certification from both NCQA and JACHO. The managed care division supports delegated medical management agreements for four managed care companies that include 80,000 managed care lives and a physician panel of more then 400 physicians.
