Gen Next Education, Inc. is a Social Benefit Organization dedicated to enhancing the access to international educational opportunities. Through the International Knowledge Center, we provide universities an innovative, efficient and cost-effective platform to: Recruit undergraduate and graduate students from India Create study abroad programs, internships and service learning opportunities for US students Facilitate faculty research/teaching opportunities Reengage Alumni Connect with Corporations and Non-Governmental Organizations Gen Next Education, Inc. was started by Girish Ballolla who saw the need to help U.S. Universities internationalize their campuses and graduate global citizens prepared to function in this highly global economy. He was born and raised in India before moving to the U.S. to pursue a higher education and understands first-hand, the challenges students face in identifying and applying to universities in the U.S. He is also experienced in the challenges associated with recruiting the "right-fit" international students. His keen interest in helping US Universities internationalize their campus and help them develop an international presence led to the creation of the International Knowledge Center. He received a B.S. in Biology and a M.S. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Kansas. Prior to founding Gen Next Education, he spent over 13 years in HR, Sales and Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain Management in a variety of industries in the U.S. ranging from chemicals to home improvement, from educational institutions to non-profits, from start-ups to a Fortune 500 company. He lives in Woodbury, MN with Vaishalee and their three daughters Maya, Mala and Shivaa.
