GEOMET Technologies,LLC ( http://www.geomet.com) founded in 1967, is a subsidiary of Versar, Inc. (AMEX:VSR). We have responded to the environmental health & safety needs of the Department of Defense and other Government and private clients since our founding. An industry leader and pioneer in many of the areas we support, GEOMET provides a comprehensive range of services and guidance including: chemical/biological (CB) agent testing and evaluation; development and evaluation of CB detection technologies; development and manufacturing of CB personal protective systems; counter-terrorism planning; air quality analysis; innovative information technology support; and other activities associated with CB and environmental compliance issues. The HeatCommander™ application that is the main subject of this web site represents just one of our capabilities relating to personal protective equipment (PPE). Another example is the Disposable Toxicological Agent Protective System (DTAPS®) - a family of fully integrated, tested, and modular personal protection equipment designed for the civilian and military first responder. The systems use the latest techniques for sealing, proven materials, and customized breathing systems to ensure that the user is fully protected.
