Guttenberg Industries, Inc. (GII) has provided high-precision custom plastic injection molding and related services to customers throughout the world since 1974. We are a privately-owned family business with more than 100 employees. We operate three shifts on a 24/5 basis (24-hours, 5-days a week) with occasional Saturday shift(s) depending upon demand. Over the past four years our revenues have grown by more than 60%, which is a testament to our employees' ability to meet the needs of our most demanding customers. We have built and maintained many long-term customer relationships through an extensive focus on efficiency and product quality and performance. This expertise results in a high quality product, better inventory management, and savings in time and money for our customers. We are recognized for our diverse range of custom injection molding capabilities, from producing very small plastic injection molded pieces to parts as large as 550-sq.in.; from a wide variety of materials. Our 65,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility now has more 32 plastic injection molding presses, ranging from 55 to 950 tons. We utilize robotics on virtually every machine, from simple sprue pickers to full-servo robots. This allows the additional flexibility to minimize manufacturing costs and become a less expensive alternative as a single source provider. Beyond manufacturing custom plastic injection molded parts, we also provide extensive value-added services. This allows for a faster production-to-finish-to-delivery schedule while also reducing transportation costs between vendors. Among the advanced services we provide are ultrasonic and spin welding, thermal and ultrasonic insertion, over-molding, custom plating, hot-stamping and pad-printing, as well as in-mold labeling (IML). In addition, we also specialize in effective and efficient press-side and post-production assembly. Quality assurance and industry certifications are essential components with Guttenberg Industries' custom injection molding processes. In fact, our quality standards and processes are often more stringent than those required by our customers! In addition to ISO 9001:2008, we have an extensive internal quality control process highlighted by our use of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
