The Independence EDC through it Ennovation Center and iNtech growth programs focus on developing and growing start-up and early stage businesses. The Existing Business team works with established businesses in Independence to grow their workforce and their business, through data research, workforce development, network development and personalized business assistance. The Independence EDC's Business Attraction Group pairs the EDC's expertise with the City of Independence departments and resources to provide a seamless, supportive approach to economic development.
