Italian Shoemakers was established in 1982 to take advantage of the creativity and resources in Tuscany, a region rich in footwear heritage. From the beginning, our commitment has always been to design, manufacture and distribute fine Italian footwear, with an emphasis on value. Unlike many footwear companies, Italian Shoemakers controls every aspect of our shoes - from design to distribution. This innovative production plan has fostered our continuous growth for 28 years and is reflected in our expanding family of lines, which includes Luisa D'Orio, Tirrenia, Damiani's, Contesa and Toscanella. Today we are one of the largest exporters of footwear from Italy to the United States, Central and South America, Canada and the Caribbean, and we continue to seek new customers worldwide.
