Kit Pack

Kit Pack is a privately owned, Prime Government contractor, approved by the Department of Defense (Cage Code 30842) as a "Small Business". Kit Pack has supported a number of prime Government contractors in meeting the needs of aging weapons systems since 1961 with kits and assemblies. This list of contractors whose weapons systems have been supported includes, among others, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, McDonnell Douglas and Northrop. For many years the company operated under Mil-I 45208A, the scope of which was Inspection System Requirements. In 2000 when the company became certified to ISO 9002:1994, Kit Pack's quality system scope then broadened to include all systems and procedures operating within the company. In 2003, the company stepped up certification to ISO 9001:2000. Kit Pack's quest for quality is demonstrated by not only its certification to ISO 9001:2000, but also in its competition for the New Mexico Quality Awards in 1993, 1994 and 1995. In 1993, Quality New Mexico's first year of competition, Honor Roll recognition was the highest acknowledgement presented. Kit Pack was proud to be one of only two recipients of this Honor Roll recognition. Kit Pack's competition in 1994 and 1995 garnered the Road Runner Quality Award both years. Continuous improvement is a goal demonstrated by company activities day to day.
