Having established itself since 1983, Kuantan Wire Products Sdn Bhd has been involved in the manufacturing of steel fabric for concrete reinforcement for almost 30 years. The first factory was opened for operations in Semambu Industrial Estate, Kuantan, Pahang and is the current leading manufacturer of reinforcing steel fabric in the East Coast region of Peninsular Malaysia. Throughout the years, we have been constantly expanding our business activities and with the acquisition of the high-speed welding machines at our central region factory in Selangor, we are able to strategically compete with more established names in the growth corridors of the country. Since its incorporation, the Company is totally committed to manufacture and supply excellent quality products to all its valued customers. Today, the company is enjoying a good reputation as both manufacturer and supplier of quality products with competitive pricing strategies especially with its KWP Steel Fabric and Samson Gabion and Mattress lines. With the commitment and efforts from its management and staff, the company has successfully implemented the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and subsequently been awarded with the ISO 9001:2000 Certification by BM Trada in October 2001. Nevertheless, the company will not compromise in further enhancing its Customers' satisfaction by fulfilling their requirements through continual improvements in various aspects of its operations, particularly focusing on the quality of its products. As a result, the company has also acquired the product certification on its core products i.e. KWP Steel Fabric from Sirim QAS International Sdn. Bhd. by meeting the requirements of MS145, "Steel fabric for the reinforcement of concrete" in August 2003. All in all, we do believe that our main resources are our employees. As a group, we have more than 120 people under our employment and all of them deserve due recognition for their contribution to the company's growth throughout the years.
