LAX Integrated Express Solutions
LAX Integrated Express Solutions (LINXS) is a fully integrated team comprised of Fluor, Balfour Beatty, ACS Infrastructure Development, Dragados USA, HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions, Flatiron, and Bombardier Transportation, and is further supported by an exceptional design team comprised of HDR and HNTB. Bombardier Transportation, the global leader for APM technology and operations, will provide the APM Operating System, including all vehicles. LINXS brings unparalleled experience and expertise in delivering complex transportation infrastructure, including over 50 public-private partnerships in North America with a combined value of over $40 billion. Leveraging our strong presence in Southern California, LINXS is also proud to partner with a significant number of local, small, and disadvantaged business enterprises to deliver the project. LINXS is honored to have been selected by Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) as the Recommended Developer on the Automated People Mover Project. We are thrilled to begin work on this project, which will transform the experience for travelers at one of America's busiest and most iconic airports, while bringing jobs and workforce development opportunities to the local community. We are also excited to join with LAWA on its first public-private partnership, providing a best-value technical and financial solution to extend LAX's world-class facilities, reduce congestion and provide time-certain travel options. Creating a Project that reflects the diversity and aspirations of the communities we serve is our shared goal with LAWA. The LINXS team recognizes that the APM project affords us the rare opportunity to create a project legacy of opening doors to contracting opportunities and meaningful work and future careers in the industry for Los Angeles residents. Our commitment to making long-term investments in the community extends to concurrent efforts including but not limited to: Maximum Small Business participation. LINXS has proudly committed to exceeding LAWA's Inclusivity participation goal and will dedicate 30% of theDesign and Construction value to local, small and disabled-veteran owned businesses. That commitment represents more than $580 million in work-an investment we are proud to make towards growing small businesses. Maximum Local Business participation. At least $85 million is entirely committed to Local Small Businesses and will stay in Los Angeles County to strengthen the local economy, this significantly exceeds the $58 million required by LAWA for local small business participation. Mentoring for Local and Small Businesses. LINXS will provide monthly training sessions, customized Mentor Programs, and will host "office hours" to discuss contract opportunities or provide assistance to subcontractors in need of support. Scholarships to young Angelinos. LINXS will award $600,000 in scholarships through local organizations that support underserved youth.
