For over 40 years families have trusted Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home by placing their loved ones in our care. Carlton R. Fraze and his wife, Dee, moved to Lake Havasu City in 1964, the year the city was founded. Mr. and Mrs. Fraze were the 75th family to move to this new city. In 1967, Carlton and Dee established the Fraze Funeral Home. Walter and Donna Lietz came to Lake Havasu from Phoenix in 1976 and opened the Lietz Funeral Home. Finally in November of 1981, the two decided to merge and formed the partnership of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home of Lake Havasu City, Arizona. They were proud to establish the only on-site crematory in Lake Havasu City at Lietz-Fraze in 1986. In 1996, a 4,600 square foot addition was added to the existing facilities along with a 33,000 square foot parking lot to accommodate the growing community and in 1998, a 1,200 square foot crematorium addition was added. In 1999, Carlton Fraze passed away, preceded by his wife Dee in 1997. Walter Lietz currently served as President and owner of the Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory. In 2004, we were proud to introduced our on-site Pet Crematory. Now allowing us to take care of our families faithful friends with dignity. In 2008, Walt C. Lietz retired entrusting his daughter Kristen Lietz- Westwood who has been serving the community in time of need since 1996. In 2010, Kristen Westwood opened a new facility in Kingman, AZ to better serve our families in the county. Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory is one of the largest family owned & operated funeral homes serving Mohave County.
