Lux Semiconductors
Lux Semiconductors in Albany received a Phase II grant of $1 million toward developing technology that makes super thin layers of silicon, which can reduce the cost of flexible devices. The technology will be used as part of a next-generation circuit board that allows chips to be packed closer together for higher performance and smaller size, said Shane McMahon, Lux Semiconductors CEO, in a press release.
