Matthews Design Group, Inc. (MDG) is a full service civil engineering, design, and consulting firm proudly serving public and private clients throughout the Southeastern U.S. Founded by Rob A. Matthews, III, PE in 2005, MDG has grown to be the largest civil engineering firm based in St. Johns County. Matthews Design Group, Inc. (MDG) is comprised of a diverse team of highly-skilled, experienced, and client-focused engineers, designers, and drafters. Owner, Rob Matthews, has over 15 years of professional civil engineering experience, and our other three Professional Engineers collectively have over 80 years of engineering and design experience. With PE registrations in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina, MDG offers a comprehensive range of civil engineering, master planning, and permitting services throughout the Southeastern U.S. Matthews Design Group's success is largely attributable to its reputation for providing high quality, innovative engineering solutions in a timely and cost effective manner.
