Naperville Junior Woman's Club
The Naperville Junior Woman's Club (NJWC), founded in 1967, strives to provide charitable not-for-profit services to our community. To improve the quality of life in our community through its members sharing and giving of themselves, NJWC is committed to providing hands-on service and philanthropic donations to those in need, to educating the community, and to providing volunteer assistance for other philanthropic organizations. One of NJWC's ongoing projects and fundraising beneficiaries is "Safety Town", a permanent child-sized village that incorporates many dynamic programs designed to introduce children of all ages to safety awareness and preventative procedures by placing them in a safe, controlled environment. Last year, over 2,000 children benefited from various Safety Town Programs taught by enthusiastic members of NJWC and representatives from the Naperville Police and Fire Departments. In past years, over 20 philanthropies benefited from NJWC fundraising efforts. In addition to Safety Town, our Community Improvement Project will also benefit from this fundraiser. The organizations we choose to support reach far and wide in giving assistance, education, and support throughout the community. With the help of local businesses and corporations, we sell out our major fundraising extravaganza, which includes over 100 Silent Auction Items, Raffle Packages, Fabulous Grand Prizes, Lunch, and a professionally produced Fashion Show. The generosity of donations will be recognized in our event guide, as well as in other media, dependent on your donation level. Any donation you can offer will be greatly appreciated. We accept both monetary and tangible items such as gift certificates, logo marked items, etc.
