According to the NLJ, the Elite Trial Lawyers List focuses on U.S.-based firms that have done "exemplary and cutting-edge work on behalf of plaintiffs. The nominees had to have scored at least one significant plaintiffs "win" in the past year, which could include persevering in the face of adversity, obtaining key rulings and settlements, or possessing an impressive track record of work within the past three to five years.
