Perlan Project

Perlan Project is a not-for-profit research company to study atmospheric conditions utilizing sailplanes (gliders) designed to fly at extremely high altitudes. Our goals are: Aeronautical Exploration: push the frontiers of flight by soaring into near space. Meteorological Research: investigate the impact of stratospheric waves on global weather patterns and atmospheric chemistry. Education: inspire future generations to pursue careers in math, science and research.
