We are a family owned and operated funeral home since 1986 when Jim Phillip purchased the Rothenbach Funeral home in Slinger. Jim was a resident of the Slinger community and realized the importance of giving back to the area in which he lived in and the surrounding areas. In 1991, Jim and Ann built the Phillip Funeral Home on Paradise Drive in West Bend to better serve the Washington County area. Over the years, Phillip Funeral Home has offered Washington County and surrounding areas many services. In 2001 Phillip Funeral Home added their newest subsidiary Paradise Cremation Services, Washington County's first crematory. Paradise Cremation Services offers a full range of cremation merchandise and services. Phillip Funeral Home is not the oldest funeral home in Washington County; however that is not a concern of Jim's. What matters to Jim and his staff is that the families are receiving the best possible care and personalized attention during their time of need. Jim's motto is, "Think of others first and you will never be last," a good sentiment for us all to apply to our personal and business relationships. Jim and the staff at Phillip Funeral Home continually strive to be the best by providing compassion and comfort to others through making a commitment of dignity, quality and respectability to their community.
