RetiVue

RetiVue, LLC is an early-stage medical technology and services company founded in 2011 to bring to market novel retinal camera technology developed at the University of Virginia. RetiVue was founded as a socially driven company, with the vision of creating a sustainable business that improves the quality of life of the millions around the world without access to eye care services. We aim to position our products as the de facto standard for affordable retinal imaging and screening, thereby helping to enable early detection of eye disease and prevent needless blindness . RetiVue's novel retinal camera platform has been in development for over two years as a collaborative project between the Departments of Ophthalmology and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Virginia. Our team has received over $1.1 million in academic and state-funded grants to develop and clinically test our technologies.
