Houses for Homes is a nonprofit which allows real estate professionals to give back to their local communities and help create homes for single parents in need. Houses for Homes was created to help single parents gain access to education which helps them to understand what it takes to purchase a home and apply for financial assistance for the down payment on a home purchase. Houses for Homes is funded by real estate professionals who sell "Houses", participating real estate professionals will commit to contribute a portion of each of their closings commissions or settlement fees to help fund the counseling programs and the financial assistance programs; all of which will help single parents get into a "Home" Hence the "Houses for Homes". Everyone deserves a fair chance at home ownership. Houses for Homes helps that happen.
