Saidia Financial Solutions

Saidia comes from the Swahili root word that means "to help, aid, or assist". This is the focus of Saidia Financial Solutions, a firm devoted to educating families and small businesses and helping them grow in the areas of tax, wealth building, and financial strategies. Growing up, I was raised with a strong emphasis on living without debt, any type of debt. That was pretty much the extent of financial education we received. It was a simpler time, no bills and no stress, everything cash. Over the years, attempts to self-teach my way into setting up a optimal credit score combined with living beyond my means and helping out others who were living beyond their means caused a downhill spiral into barely making it paycheck to paycheck. After tragedy relocated me to Houston, I increased my efforts to become debt-free. It only took about 8 years of bad financial decisions and leeching people to go from Zero Debt to more than the average American 's amount. My goal is to get back to zero in 8-10 years, by 2022. As owner/operator of Saidia Financial Solutions and a personal financial "solution-seeker", I'll be using this blog to track progress and share solutions that I have personally tested. We will also discuss careers, debt, side hustles, tax strategies, and anything else relating to creating multiple income streams and saving money.
