Space
Space Bank was founded in 1977 when Clay Schubert and Bob Oltman purchased the Naval Under Sea Center with 200,000 sq. feet under roof and converted it into a mini storage facility. During the first eighteen months of operation, Clay, Bob and their wives, Margie and Arlene, operated the facility. Since that time, Space Bank has expanded operations into developing industrial incubator space, light industrial, as well as mini and vehicle storage. Presently, Space Bank has storage operations in Pasadena, CA., Ontario, CA. and Kansas City, Mo., consisting of over one million sq. feet under roof (over 20 acres) and over 15 full and part time employees.
