St Aidan's Church of England Academy

We are a Church of England secondary school and have a strong Christian ethos. This is an inclusive place to learn and we welcome children of all faiths and none. Our funding comes from the government and our sponsors the Church of England and business entrepreneurs Anne and David Crossland. We provide a first class education and believe that everyone can make the most of their talents and abilities. We became an Academy, in September 2007, working from our existing home and we provide 700 places for local 11 to 16 year olds. St Aidans Church of England Academy is committed to working with the community and to developing family and adult learning.
