St George's Vets

St George's were recently inspected by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons as part of their Practice Standards Scheme. We are thrilled to say we are the first practice to be awarded OUTSTANDING in the Client Service Award at all of our surgeries. St George's Vets is inspected annually by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) as part of their Practice Standards Scheme. This is a voluntary inspection, but it ensures our practice, (which comprises of the 24 hour hospital and 6 branch surgeries across the Midlands), meets the very high standards that the RCVS require. The Hospital has retained its Hospital Status fulfilling the criteria required for an animal hospital which includes excellent emergency and critical care, state of the art facilities and fully trained teams. The branch surgeries were awarded core status again, meeting the strict criteria set by the Royal College. The RCVS has recently introduced a variety of extra awards, one of which is in the "Client Experience". As we have been recognised for providing the best possible patient care, we wanted the same recognition for our client care. After interviews with our staff across the group and close inspection of our facilities, web site, reception areas, staff training in client care, client feedback and reviews, bereavement counselling and complaints handling we are delighted to say we received an OUTSTANDING award for all seven of our surgeries. The inspector made these comments: One of the best practices I have seen. The practice has obviously put into action many improvements to achieve the fantastic result of Outstanding Client Service. Superb information boards, excellent refurbished waiting rooms. The web site is one of the best I have seen, very well maintained alongside marketing of the highest order on social media. Excellent bereavement counselling including the lovely candles in the waiting room. Excellent client care manager and patient co-ordinator in the after care of operations and euthanasia. A great team of very enthusiastic staff throughout the group. Incredibly motivated managers and leaders. A superbly well organised vet group.
