St. Joseph Christian School

St. Joseph Christian School was founded in 1988 with this conviction as its cornerstone: There is no other foundation upon which to lay the education of its students than the Lord Jesus Christ. SJCS maintains that the truest metric for assessing its success is how well students learn to integrate events, experiences, and knowledge of the world with the truth of God's Word. The school's academic program encompasses pre-kindergarten through the twelfth grade. Currently, over 300 students are enrolled, representing more than fifty-five area churches. The school is a ministry of Area Ministers for Christ, Inc. The school's first campus was located at 14th and Olive Streets in St. Joseph. As enrollment continued to increase, a new and larger facility was needed. St. Joseph Christian School moved to its new, state-of-the-art campus at 5401 Gene Field Road in 2002.
