Suppression Systems, Inc. (SSI) was founded in Bethlehem, PA in 1983 as an entrepreneurial approach to provide protection to valued assets with clean agent based fire protection systems. SSI's continuous growth led to relocation in Pennsburg, PA in the late 80's to accommodate space requirements for expanded operations and facilities for additional staffing. Early successes were achieved through a business focus in the tri-state area of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. SSI continued building its market area in the northeast corridor and later extended their reach in serving various domestic locations in response to customer needs. SSI became a wholly owned subsidiary of Fike Corporation in 2000 and has positioned itself as a leading distributor of fire protection products. SSI is factory authorized and trained to provide comprehensive fire protection solutions through fire suppression, fire alarm and explosion protection systems.
