Taste of the Country has been a proud part of the Shipston on Stour community since 2006. We believe that our local British food, here in the heart of Warwickshire, is among the best and most bountiful in the world. This July 2018 we were awarded Best Independent Retailer at the Cotswold Life Magazine Food & Drink Awards! Wowing the judges on arrival with fantastic window displays and beautiful signage outside. They enjoyed our excellent selection of local produce and our fabulous team were noted to be very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, with a clear love for the shop and its produce. "It appeared to be a thriving little business in the community! We are incredibly proud of our local business. Our own range, all cooked eight miles away in our Alscot kitchen, includes everything from good, honest Fish Pie, to our rather famous iced gingerbread which you'll find stocked everywhere from English Heritage to Eden Project.
