The Beauty Crop was founded by Ning and Runee, two good friends based in London who came together through their passion for food, fitness and healthy living. Both creative souls, they loved arts and illustrating during their earlier years but packed away their creative tools to pursue what they thought would be a fulfilling career in Investment Banking and Finance. After 10 years of working in some of the world's top professional firms and banks, a stressful and hectic lifestyle took a toll on their health (and skin). They became inspired to change the way they lived by eating cleaner and started exploring and creating recipes that were rich in nutrition but still tasty. On top of their day jobs, Ning and Runee started viceforspice.com - a blog about the things they were really passionate about - food, beauty, fitness, travel and healthy living. Through this blog they share recipes which have been handed down from their mothers, but with a healthy spin - incorporating the flavours from their heritage and travel adventures with produce and spices that are rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. They have an ever-growing passion to learn and in turn educate others about Super Food ingredients. There are also posts about beauty, fitness, travel, wellbeing and even illustrations they have created themselves, something they picked up again since starting Vice for Spice. Inspired by their new creative lease on life, they realised there was a gap in the market for high performing cosmetics which incorporated their Super Food obsession. The Beauty Crop was born from their passion to create skin-loving cosmetics which would enable them to promote health and wellbeing via their formulations whilst having fun at the same time. Together, they have created a brand of colour cosmetics, enhanced with nutrition derived from natural, earth-sourced ingredients. One which enables you to look as good as you feel.
