Thermalex
Since 1985, Thermalex has been extruding complicated aluminum heat transfer shapes. Mitsubishi Aluminum's parent role in Thermalex constitutes not only ownership, but also active world-renowned metallurgical and extrusion die expertise. Thermalex has become a symbol of world leadership in the extrusion of precision aluminum shapes. Our pioneering work in the automotive and commercial/residential markets continues. Five state-of-the-art high capacity extrusion presses produce some of the world's most intricate and challenging profiles, to the most rigid tolerance specifications of our highly technical thermal transfer customers. A dedicated extrusion press serves parallel flow brazed aluminum microchannel heat exchanger demand for the commercial and residential products of the HVAC industry. Old copper tube heat transfer technologies are just not able to compete with the new thermal transfer capabilities of Thermalex Micro-Flow extruded aluminum tubing. Today's HVAC demands for higher efficiency and smaller, lower cost products are a key driver for this new Thermalex microchannel market. Extrusions are available in Aluminum Association Alloys as well as Thermalex long life alloys and supplied as either cut-to-length or level-wound extruded coils. Thermalex strives to provide the finest Micro-Tube Extrusions by constant improvement in processes and extrusion efficiencies. This is accomplished by using "Continual Improvement Techniques" in procurement, engineering, production, maintenance, customer service and shipping practices.
