Trutegra was originally founded as Nol-Tec Systems Southeast in 1987 by Joe Tucker, Nol-Tec Systems, Inc in Minnesota and Paul Vogt. The company literally started in Joe's garage in Charlotte. Since then, we've grown to over 30 employees and 12,000+ square feet of dedicated office space and our own panel assembly shop. Over the years, we have been fortunate to work in many different industries. During the textile boom of the nineties, we gained immense fibers experience and were one of the area's premier textile fibers integrators for many companies worldwide. We developed custom, proprietary products and applications to assist in package build for many winding applications. As the fibers industry moved overseas, we were forced to reinvent ourselves and expanded our bulk material handling applications to include injection systems for emissions mitigation in coal-fired power plants. Our engineers are experts on controlling both dense and dilute phase pneumatic conveying systems, as well as air blenders, bulk unloading, weighing and batching, loss-in-weight, and gain-in-weight systems. In the 2000s, our company expanded scope again to provide 24/7 emergency support to manufacturing facilities. We are proud to support many Charlotte-based companies to this day around the clock with 'boots onsite' guarantees to keep their facilities running. In the late 2000s, the crane and hoist industry was in need of a new positioning product to replace and obsolete TCS-4000/ICS-5000 system. A new, PLC-based replacement was born, and is widely used in industry today. From that single product we have developed a whole suite of products for the crane industry, including skew control, collision avoidance, obstacle avoidance, and most recently anti-sway technology. In 2011, Nol-Tec Systems Southeast officially changed its name to Trutegra. The company is still owned by Joe and Paul and is still based in Charlotte, but with a new name to uniquely identify our core values. We still have the same talented engineers, along with many recent additions to accommodate our growth. Trutegra prides itself on our reputation, trust, and integrity - which is what our name is derived from.
