We provide enablement, care and support for people who have a range of complex needs who require essential assistance to help them live their everyday life as independently as possible. We believe that open relationships, information and communication play important roles in ensuring successful delivery of enablement and support with all parties communicating and working together. We ensure that we develop a relationship that compliments the Local Authority's Care in the Community Framework, aiming to seek continuous quality improvements, creativity, a multi-disciplinary and multi- agency approach to the development of enablement and support for each person. We see our responsibility in this relationship as the enabling partner, providing safe and reliable enablement and support. We believe that the processes and practices must be transparent and open to all concerned. Whilst contract and quality monitoring provides a backdrop for ensuring that the needs of each person are met, we believe that our communication and liaison with our Investing Purchasers will have preceded this. We ensure that Authorities and other stakeholders are consulted at every stage of the development to check that we are meeting expectations. Furthermore, we believe that all stakeholders should be actively encouraged to participate in the continuous quality improvement process. We are currently working with a number of Authorities on the redesign of individual contracts, focusing more closely on contracting for specific outcomes for each person.
