Villa Furniture Manufacturing

The story of Villa International really begins in our 50,000 square foot workshop, where dedicated craftsmen have been turning out some of the world's finest furniture since 1955. Today they still do it in much the same way as they did then: by hand - metal workers, carpenters, upholsterers, and a whole host of other skilled professionals, many of whom have been with Villa for 20 years or more, all working side by side, one piece of furniture at a time. It's a history, and a pride of workmanship, that you can feel in every piece of Villa International furniture. The company that Fred Villa founded nearly 50 years ago originally focused on manufacturing high-end, custom-built furniture for the commercial and residential markets. Within the first decade of its existence, the company had developed a reputation for impeccable style, unbeatable value and, perhaps most importantly, ingenious functionality. It wasn't long, however, before a new market began to emerge for which Villa would be even more ideally suited. Of all the strange new creations of the 1960s, one of the most unusual was to be found on the road: a marriage of the family home and the family automobile, an all-in-one unit called the motorhome. These early motor coaches were largely the products of individuals with a sense of adventure and a do-it-yourself attitude. Still, by 1965, the Family Motor Coach Association was able to identify at least 11 commercial manufacturers of these popular new "homes on wheels." One of those early manufacturers was Executive Industries. Executive Industries approached Villa International with the idea of enhancing the motor coach experience by incorporating the same high quality and fashion sense associated with Villa's home furniture into the uniquely practical requirements of life on the road. The result was an instant success with Executive's customers. Living room style in a mobile environment: Villa International had found itself at the forefront of a new industry that continues to grow to this day. That first piece of furniture Villa manufactured for motorhome use in 1969, a cleverly engineered, stylish dinette, has since been complemented by a full line of interior furnishings, including sofas, recliners, chairs and driver seats. Today, Villa International is focused solely on the recreational vehicle market. Villa provides original furniture to more than 30 of the top motorhome manufacturers in the industry. You'll find Villa International in the most beautiful coaches on the road, including Airstream, Beaver, Blue Bird, Country Coach, Fleetwood, Foretravel, Gulf Stream, Marathon, Monaco, Newell, Newmar, Winnebago and many others. But even as we've grown, we've never forgotten the independent spirit that founded this industry in the first place. That's why we continue to make it easy for individual RV enthusiasts to purchase our products as well. Whether you're a professional bus converter or a new coach owner, Villa International can help you with exactly what you're looking for.
