West Nashville Church

The West Nashville Cumberland Presbyterian Church (WNCP) was organized in 1893, with its first church building erected in June, 1895. In April, 1900, a new building on the corner of 51st Avenue North and Kentucky Avenue was dedicated. In 1927, a new building was erected on the front part of the lot facing 51st Avenue. In 1978, construction began on our current property, 6849 Charlotte Pike. In 1980, acreage adjoining this property was purchased, and new Sunday School classrooms were built. The church celebrated its 100th birthday in June of 1995. WNCP Church members have a devout faith in God, a desire to worship God and pursue a diligent and prayerful study of the Bible, and an energetic spirit which enables us to work together harmoniously for the purpose of accomplishing the goals of the church. Our members come from all walks of life. Many have attended the church since birth.
