Founded in 2010, Wider Yachts USA was formed the moment Mr. Tilli Antonelli shared his ideas and concept of the Wider 42 over dinner on the beach in Senigalia, Italy. The presentation from Tilli was a very simple drawing on a napkin and some small pieces of folded cardboard from the table showing how the unique mechanism would work. Being friends and colleagues for many years while involved with the Pershing brand, we were all extremely impressed and amazed at his Wider project and immediately solidified our commitment to Tilli for the USA market. At this point Wider had not even started production and was still in the design and development stage and we did not even know when we would get our first boat for the USA. What we did know was that with Tilli Antonelli and his award-winning design and engineering team, we could not pass up this chance to be involved in launching such a unique brand and design to the USA yachting market. We have seen a number of boating concepts and artist renderings in yachting and boating magazines over the past 20 years with nearly none coming to fruition, maybe a one off here and there but very few actually make it to certification and production. That is the very reason why we are here today. In less than 14 months Wider has grown from concept to production and even delivery to the first owners. The next step is how do we present Wider in the USA. Looking back on our experience representing other Italian yachts in the USA and the large dealer formats we had to endure, we decided to go forward with our small team that can stay connected with every Wider owner and provide an exclusive experience. Our team is dedicated to promoting and representing the Wider Brand in the USA market and we have the experience to stand behind and support the product. We are not a group of salesmen or enthusiasts wanting to sell some boats; we are industry professionals that have extensive experience in the process from design and construction to warranty and customer service. We will grow the Wider brand in the USA from the support and customer service we provide our Wider owners.
